The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for building strategic sourcing plans to identify, screen, interview and recruit potential candidates in order to select the highest quality hires for Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) client job requisitions. This will include partnering with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leadership with the goal of assisting in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for both job-specific and pipeline needs. This position will be responsible for building an ongoing candidate pipeline using research, networking, outplacement services, and online job database information. As a member of the Randstad Sourceright recruitment team, this individual must project a professional image both internally and externally; understand business/organizational challenges, and provide innovative solutions that support the growth of RSR.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute established sourcing plan for each assigned job order utilizing appropriate search mechanisms (job boards, social networking, referrals, internet searches, and other methods) in a cost-effective and compliant manner
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
- Craft and send recruiting emails
- Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
- Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
- Promote our employer brand online and offline
- Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
- Remain up-to-date with the latest industry resources, social media, and networking tools along with other emerging recruitment trends in the market
- Proactively research and remain current on our clients’ competitors and contributing factors in the market the may affect the clients’ recruitment initiatives (e.g./closures, lay-offs, hiring initiatives, industry news, etc…) and report back to the team on findings.
- Track and/or document search strings and methodologies
- Build a network of candidates to utilize in filling current and future job requisitions
EXPERIENCE:
- Some sourcing or recruiting experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to successfully interface with clients (internal and external at all levels)
- Proven ability to work positively within a team environment
- Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan
- Detail orientation with follow-through shown in previous jobs
- Ability to adapt priorities in line with changing business needs and handle multiple priorities at any given time
- Ability to train existing and new team members
- Ability to qualify and close deals
- Sales abilities along with market knowledge and/or product/technical expertise
- Bilingual (French & English)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor in administration, HR, or related field (ideal).
