As part of the Global Data, Analytics and RPA team – the Data Governance team drives multiple aspects across RSR departments both global and regional including:
- Compliance and quality processes relate to Client Data
- Randstad Sourceright Corporate Data strategy
- Ownership and Governance of Business Intelligence tools
As a Data Access Control Analyst you will be the driver of all technical aspects of the Data Governance team. You will apply rules and associated procedures to all user and data access requests. You will also partner with our stakeholders and leaders across the business to drive transformation of our processes that touch client data towards a higher standard of compliance.
Some of your daily responsibilities will consist of :
- Advising managers and teams how to apply a wide variety of new and existing Data Governance procedures.
- Produce and modify reports by collecting data from a variety of sources and review reports as needed to validate applicability
- Maintain and review data-set as required, working to ensure data quality, highlighting and addressing discrepancies, giving advice and providing solutions.
- Evaluating, quality monitoring and keeping the professional products and services up to date in a compliant and secure way.
- Train, educate, and create awareness of data governance ensuring adoption and proper usage of tools and technologies.
- Triage and answer questions regarding Data Governance, BI tools and solutions
- Subject matter expert towards improvements in the usage of tools and the existing data management processes.
- Uncovers emerging issues and/or needs and identifies potential causes, related issues, key stakeholders and barriers.
- Generate materials explaining Data Governance standards for a broad audience, including Data Governance information collateral (team site, information stores, etc.)
- Review and manage documentation (SOPs, Procedures) and approve edits.
- Attend and participate in the sprint planning and refinement meetings of different BI regional teams and contribute to the stand up calls
What you will need to bring in:
- At least 5 years of experience in a data management/ governance environment
- Fluent English
- Experience of stakeholder management
- Experience of running projects in a fast growing and changing environment
- Ability to review datasets and metadata and curate as applicable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
