What You'll Do

You will help Cisco's University Recruiting team develop operational plans and branding activities at assigned schools that will help build a strong talent pipeline. You will also work closely with cross-functional campus managers to develop recruiting strategies at targeted universities. Once these strategies have been developed, you will be responsible implementing and executing on-campus engagements that include information sessions, office hours and developing student organization relationships.

Aside from campus engagement, you will also be responsible for developing and carrying out a plan to identify and attract passive talent to our Customer Experience organization through sourcing and pipeline building. We are looking for a highly motivated Sourcer who understands technology and has a strong ability to build a diverse pipeline of talent for both technical and non-technical roles.

You are a creative thinker who is strategic, innovative and able to build positive relationships. You have proven the ability to lead and successfully build school and sourcing strategy and execute against it. Your analytical and problem solving skills have given you the ability to influence at all varying levels. In addition, your excellent communication skills allow you to clearly and effectively communicate with university audiences.

Skills and Qualifications

  • University Recruiting and Sourcing experience - 3 to 5 yrs
  • Prior experience in a high volume, corporate University Recruiting environment (highly preferred)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies and analyze requirements to determine specific profile needs
  • Recruit passive candidates using internal and external resources
  • Manage multiple, complex searches and craft creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage the best talent for Cisco
  • Establish meaningful relationships with candidates and build a network of potential candidates through thoughtful sourcing practices
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively problem solve
  • Strong attention to detail
