As a Recruiting Team Lead you will develop recruiting strategies necessary to meet the client's current and forecasted staffing needs. You will monitor and assist account staff in a matrix based environment to ensure the client's staffing requirements are met and develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the client.

As a partnership leader you will develop and implement strategies to continue to capture market share. You will be responsible for meeting the goals and objectives within an account portfolio which includes being accountable for meeting established budget goals, SLAs and KPIs.

The Recruitment Team Lead must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements, while having a strategic mindset and provide superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Partner with hiring Directors and HRBP Teams to develop a systematic and clear recruitment strategy to fill 40+ new positions every 6 months.
  • Establish ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their business and recruitment needs.
  • Develop interview & recruiting skills of new hiring managers
  • Manage a small team of experienced recruiters in delivering the hiring objective for the region.
  • Operational Lead able to balance managing people and carrying their own requisition load (30-40% Management / 60-70% Delivery)
  • Positions will vary in scope and level across the company.
  • Responsible for the life-cycle of the recruiting process.
  • Emphasis will be placed on direct contact to potential candidates, industry networking, utilizing internal referrals, and the use of advertising to attract a diverse pool of top talent
  • Utilize prior successful experience in filling demanding Biopharmaceutical positions to attract candidates that maintain client's corporate culture, mission, and vision.
  • Responsible for managing external search firms when vendor services are needed.
  • Develop team's ability to participate in recruitment functions including job fairs, conferences and career events targeting unique applicant populations.
  • Using established compensation ranges conduct salary and offer negotiations.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years in a RPO, Corporate or staffing agency experience
  • BS or BA degree
  • Experience as an in-house recruiter in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • 3+ years people management experience, including, performance management, coaching and mentoring

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • A Master's degree can be substituted for 2 years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Must possess good influencing skills
  • Must be able to independently identify appropriate actions to take in resolving staffing and/or employee issues using well-defined Talent Acquisition policies and procedures
  • Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignments and open requisitions
  • Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives
  • Solid and proven experience in executive search and/or agency recruiting
  • Demonstrated experience in building candidate pipelines through direct sourcing
  • Demonstrated skills in working with all levels of company management to manage life-cycle recruiting for 40+ positions annually
  • Knowledge of employment law and general human resources practices
  • Significant experience with screening, interviewing, and managing the offer process
  • Strong experience with professional & social media, the utilization of company referral programs, and networking to achieve recruiting results
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS Systems would be a plus
  • Proactive approach in terms of identifying, evaluating and influencing Hiring Managers
  • Actively using of creative sourcing channels and networking
