Diversity Sourcing Manager 

 

As a Diversity Sourcing Manager, Talent Delivery you will lead in the development of sourcing strategies, inclusive of diversity, in order to proactively build out strategy for the client's forecasted staffing needs. You will support the efforts of the Talent Advisors and Sourcing team, in a matrix-based environment to ensure the client's staffing requirements are met and develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the internal and client teams.

 

As a Sourcing leader dedicated to one client partner, you will develop and implement strategies to continue to capture market share. You will be responsible for meeting the goals and objectives within an account portfolio which includes being accountable for meeting established budget goals, SLAs and KPIs.

 

The Diversity Sourcing Manager, Talent Delivery must be detail-oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements, while having a strategic mindset and provide superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills.

 

General Duties:

 

Client Relationship Management

 

  • Develop strong client relationships and partnerships with the Talent Acquisition team, along with site leadership and diversity groups (ERGs) to provide innovative sourcing solutions, inclusive of Diversity, to solve client needs and long-term business strategy
  • Develop and refine processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions needed to manage strategies.
  • Partner with team manager to assist team members in meeting internal RSR SLAs specific to diversity slates and interviews
  • Compile strategy and diversity data and produce presentable reports for client and internal team review
  • Develop and maintain connections with local organizations and networks local to BASF sites to bring forward viable talent
  • Proactively drive the focus and direction of Diversity for BASF Exempt and Non-Exempt positions, locations and business units, based on needs
  • Responsible for performing root cause analysis if/when SLAs are not being met and provide creative process improvement recommendations needed for correction.
  • Responsible for helping the team meet customer and candidate satisfaction targets
  • Ability to proactively bring ideas forward for job fairs, events, etc...- inclusive of cost, ROI from attending, area of focus (exempt/non-exempt) and drive the engagement forward

 

 

Monitoring of Staff

 

  • Coach and mentor team and provide assistance as needed to reach diversity-specific goals
  • Provide the Talent Manager with a summary regarding the quality of work provided by all resources to ensure there is an accurate perception of work completed
  • Collaborate with Talent Manager to create action plans for individuals needing improvement to reach client satisfaction targets around sourcing and strategy
  • Recommend training where necessary to develop skills and techniques, share new ideas, solutions, and tools with teams
  • Coordinate the training to be delivered to new team members with regard to utilization of strategies and engagement of Sourcing Manager support

 

 

Position Requirements:

 

Basic qualifications include:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years direct leadership & management of a team of Sourcers and/or Recruiters who performed sourcing
  • 3+ years executing effective sourcing strategies
  • 1+ years of experience demonstrating strong organizational and MS PowerPoint presentation skills
  • 1+ years of experience describing and documenting project or client requirement
  • 1+ years of experience demonstrating effective time management skills for handling multiple tasks and competing priorities

 

 

Preferred qualifications include:

 

  • PHR, SPHR, PMI or similar disciplines preferred
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Experience in resolving conflicts and gaining cooperation among peers, staff and client
  • Experience in researching complex issues and developing recommended actions
  • Management skills based on several years of experience preferably in a matrix-based environment
  • Ability to build strong, effective relationships as a leader, team member, and Randstad resource
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Strong business acumen, hardworking, high integrity and a strong desire to succeed
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills to present internally and to our clients
  • Capable of working independently in a self-directed capacity, as well as in a team environment
