Senior FP&A Analyst

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for collating the forecast and budget information into the financial reporting system and carrying out analytical evaluation of the output. Generating reports to support the function in present analytical information and challenges back to operations. Also to carry out commercial modelling (inc. bonus schemes) and provide a finance business partnering operation.  Key Responsibilities include

  • Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning processes for the business unit including obtaining the assumptions from the business and including them with the forecasting tool, and preparing the presentation materials
  • Undertaking on-going analysis on business performance, discussing findings and recommendations with key senior stakeholders
  • Maintain a Risks and Opportunities schedule against budgeted EBITA
  • Manage and maintain operational commission and bonus schemes, perform cost sensitivity analysis around revenue variations and reallocation, commission scheme alterations and retrospective changes
  • Provide a business partnering and sparring partnering relationship with the business leader(s) and the Shared Service Centre to maximise impact and enhance business performance
  • Work with operational managers, HR team and Head of Commercial Finance to ensure that we have appropriate commission and bonus schemes, to help drive the outcomes in the annual budget including undertaking the modelling and sensitivity analysis of these schemes and carrying out bonus modelling to understand the impact of changes in scheme.

The successful candidate must be a part qualified as an Accountant/QBE (ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent) and have relevant FP&A analytical experience. You must have proven experience of strong senior stakeholder management and your Excel and influencing skills must be second to none as this is a key business facing, influential and critical advisory role, where your input will drive commercial improvements through the business.
