Product Manager

 

Location: Slough

Length: 3 months rolling

Payrate: 450-510 GBP daily

A well-known Telecommunications company is looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for the planning, build and execution of customer trials for 5G.

The Product Manager is responsible for the planning, building and execution of business customer trials for 5G. As well as becoming a PR platform for the company around 5G. We’re looking for someone to sit at the intersection of technology, suppliers, the customer(s) and the business to deliver meaningful trials and relevant commercial products for our customers

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Enterprise Account Teams with pre-sales discussions
  • Scoping and planning trials: building and tracking trial objectives, metrics and hypotheses, analysis and presentation of results/findings
  • Working alongside the technology team to gather requirements, from front door requests to ongoing trial delivery.
  • Capturing customer requirements: user research, building of personas, conducting site surveys.
  • Planning and testing the integration and compatibility of all parts of the trial solution, including hardware, software and connectivity
  • Overseeing the building POCs/prototypes, wireframes and technically testing them thoroughly to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet customer needs
  • Working with Legal & Procurement around customer NDAs, Contracts & supplier Contracts
  • Actively participating in discussions to ensure PoCs adhere / advance the framework / ecosystem / rules of engagement that underpin 5G, IoT, Connectivity B2B Use Cases

Skills:

  • Technical understanding, commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs.
  • IOT or digital experience
  • A strong customer focus: ability to deal with and capture insights and requirements from customers at all levels of the organisation
  • An eye for detail and good design, with an ability to help visualise ideas to quickly test and validate them, but also ensure industrialised products have best-in-class usability, accessibility and customer appeal
  • Ability to gather, analyse and use data to make good decisions, influence stakeholders and clearly articulate the progress of the trials and potential of new products
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience of negotiating and managing partnerships in the digital space
  • Experience of trialling, launching and iterating digital B2B products. Good experience in agile product principles and ability to find the right option for bringing a product to market to maximise speed & quality and minimise cost
