The EMEA sales, solutions and marketing function is responsible for the growth of new business by developing and securing profitable opportunities in the region and globally. The team is responsible for generating new leads, developing market-leading and innovative solutions to meet client needs, negotiating and closing new client contracts. The team is also the most visible ‘face’ of the Randstad Sourceright brand and its capability.


Marketing Business Partner will execute strategy and deliver the marketing and communication needs of the business. The role will drive forward the activity to support sales in the EMEA region (with specific focus on certain European countries within RSR).


Marketing Business Partner will play an active role in positioning us as thought-leaders in the market through an effective focus on solutions and a consultative selling approach that highlights our advisor and professional services credibility.


Key activities:


Business Partnering

  • To be the main point of contact for the sales and account management teams focused on a particular country or countries, dealing with any ‘first level queries’
  • To have, and develop, extensive knowledge of the specific market(s) to understand maturity, cultural differences, client needs (including buying personas) and the competition in order to adapt our activity and tone to be most effective in that market
  • To actively support sales activity by understanding the priorities in the specific geographical pipeline and delivering input such as content, microsites, videos and case studies
  • To own and report on marketing output, with a particular emphasis on driving team activity, for example: sales team marketing actions, knowledge and training, tool adoption, event planning and execution
  • To drive the process to continuously produce thought-leadership articles and positions, including promotion of regional ‘rockstars’ relevant to the right geographies
  • To build effective partnerships, including with Randstad OpCo marketing teams to maximise collaboration and extend the reach of our resources and activity
  • To make our marketing initiatives effectively local



  • To execute the strategic marketing plan, with clear deliverables, that aligns to the wider Randstad Sourceright EMEA goals
  • Deliver within a best practice framework to record and review marketing effectiveness and achievement of KPIs
  • Working to maximise output against a set budget
  • Deliver marketing plans that drive increased brand awareness and business profitability
  • Delivering effective marketing campaigns, with particular emphasis on digital, to drive sales
  • Organising client events to support campaigns and sales activity
  • Producing effective collateral for marketing purposes
  • Maintain specific geographical business intelligence
  • Contribute to the global Randstad Sourceright strategy by supporting global initiatives


Key Relationships:


Marketing Director RSR EMEA, colleagues in Sales, Implementations, Operations and Commercial Finance; local Randstad OpCos.


There is a matrix dotted reporting line of the function to the RSR Global Marketing Director, who retains strategic ownership and governance across the regions of the marketing function.  



Existing and prospective clients, partners and suppliers



  • University degree



  • Understanding of long-term strategy while ensuring the short-term deliverables are being managed within a fast-paced, multiple-priority environment
  • Proven experience of successfully developing and implementing best-in-class initiatives, campaigns and client events
  • Demonstrable evidence of overachievement against budget
  • Demonstrable experience of digital marketing, communication channels and campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering impact and achieving results
  • 3 years of formal related experience at a large global corporation is preferred
  • 3 years of experience within a European/EMEA/recruitment environment
  • Team management experience
  • Experience working across multiple geographies



  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • In depth knowledge of the HR or RPO/MSP or related industry
  • Knowledge of delivering customer marketing initiatives to deliver successful results (both qualitative and quantitative) directly linked to sales activities
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in B2B marketing in the service sector
  • Knowledge of social media tracking/analytics and tools
  • A diplomatic, relationship builder with strong professional presence and demonstrated ability to influence sales teams
  • Positive, professional, with ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and environment
