Contract/assignment: 18 months (potential to extend)

Purpose of the job :

Learning is ‘at the heart’ of the RSR EMEA and we believe that by developing our people we can continuously improve the service that we deliver to our candidates & clients. Because of this belief, this role plays a critical function within the RDC’ and the wider EMEA organisation.

 

The Learning and Development Project Manager will join the EMEA HR team and will have a role that is focussed on global L&D projects. Working in close collaboration with key stakeholders in each region, you will be responsible for leading the design, rollout and delivery of key L&D projects across EMEA, APAC and NAM that will support our people in developing skill sets required to become a future ready workforce. You will join a collaborative & supportive team, gain a broader perspective and understanding of our global operations and have an opportunity to develop yourself and your career within the L&D function.

 

This roles primary purpose is to help scope, design and implement the L&D program that will support the rollout of the new Talent Advisory Toolkit, focussing on both the technical understanding of the platform as well as the soft skills required to move our client facing workforce into a more consultative and advisory role.

 

Key activities:

Talent Advisor Toolkit

  • To collaborate with the Talent Innovation center (TIC) team to fully understand the platform being used for the Talent Advisor Toolkit and become an expert in navigating the tool.
  • Project management (end to end) the roll out of the TA Toolkit to the EMEA, APAC & NAM regions, working with each region’s senior leadership team (where applicable) and L&D teams including
  • Identification of the relevant target audience who will need to utilise or support the usage of the Talent Advisor Toolkit
  • Research & understand the potential barriers to adoption within the target audience, and ensure the implementation plan navigates beyond these
  • Design and delivery of the learning plan to train all applicable client onsite staff on the navigation and application of the platform to support their client interactions
  • Create value proposition to the target audience, understanding the use of the platform and value to the client and to the target user
  • Ensuring that the platform adoption is fully embedded into the day to day lives of the identified target audience
  • Create training collateral (online or other) to support new hired employees who join after the initial platform rollout and create sustainable usage of the platform
  • Create a global SMEs network that will support the roll out program and be a conduit between the business, L&D and the TIC on the roll out and ongoing adoption of platform enhancements.
  • Work with any relevant external suppliers who are engaged to support the roll out of the platform, managing supplier relationships & terms for engagement.
  • Create and manage a feedback process that can track the success of the roll out and collate any business feedback & concerns that need to be addressed on an ongoing basis

  • Support on other L&D projects as applicable



Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Strong people skills, ability to partner and work with multiple stakeholders at multiple levels and effectively navigate a matrix environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills,
  • Curious and Creative mindset, ability to adapt content to different settings and explore new ways to approach things.
  • Change management skills: oversees the scope of change and the effect on people and business. Influence accordingly. Has worked successfully in an environment that is going thru a change / is comfortable with change management methodology.
  • Able to clearly articulate and explain new information to a variety of audiences, can think from another's perspective
  • Structured, organised and disciplined in their approach to work, excellent project management and planning skills, ability to think multiple steps ahead.
  • Able to work at pace,  and can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence both internally and externally
  • Has previously contributed to L&D (e.g. participated in designing or delivering training) or shown genuine interest in developing others through training, coaching etc

 

Knowledge:

  • Advanced skills with Google slides, docs and sheets
  • Is digitally fluent and quick to learn new technologies & software programs.
  • Strong knowledge of engaging audiences across multiple platforms including online (Hangout/webex) environments and of how to adapt styles for different mediums
  • Detailed knowledge on recruiting procedure within both RPO & MSP environment and of the Client onsite roles.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and Vendor Management Systems (Desirable)  
  • Understanding of how to translate data to insights

 

Other criteria:

Due to the global scope of the role the candidate must be open to working flexible hours to support the roll out in the EMEA, US and APAC regions where time difference will impact the scheduling of training and other meetings.
