Primary Purpose of role

Reporting to the team leader you will provide a high touch and accurate administrative support as part of the onboarding team.  The role of the onboarding coordinator is to be the main point of contact for each hire from the point of the offer initiation and supports the individual throughout the onboarding process until they start with the organisation. You will build relationships with all parties, including clients and suppliers, and provide a high standard of customer service to the new client employee throughout the onboarding process.

Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)

Feedback on client specific service level agreements and individual objectives set and reviewed by the onboarding team leader on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with talent acquisition to produce and confirm offer letters and contracts, also liaising with candidates to ensure all essential documents are returned
  • Ensuring that new starters have completed all relevant forms and presented all necessary screening documents which include eligibility to work in the UK etc
  • Updating the onboarding tracker throughout the whole process
  • Producing joiner letters and e-mails
  • Completing New Hire Forms for payroll
  • Responding to onboarding e-mail queries and requests for information
  • Attending weekly new joiner inductions
  • Providing cover and support for fellow case manager within the team
  • Running daily reports through the onboarding tracker
  • Carrying out ad hoc administrative duties as required






Secondary School Leaver/ College Leaver

GCSE/ AS Levels qualifications or College Equivalent

Computer Knowledge


MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Reporting and producing quality based MI


Experience of having used in house client systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) and recruitment based systems

(Talentlink,i-Grasp, Taleo etc..)

Lotus Notes

Work Experience

Previous administration experience within a office environment


Experience of working in Financial Services
