Business Improvement Manager

Location:                               Budapest or Birmingham Recruitment Centre

Reports to:                           Business Improvement Director

Purpose of the job:

 

Operational RSR lead on to drive LEAN processes throughout the EMEA Recruitment centres and selceted front office teams within EMEA. To ensure appropriate knowledge transfer of LEAN practices within operational teams and to lead on the continued drive of business improvement, transformation and performance initiatives throughout RSR EMEA.

 

 

Key activities:

 

Know How:

 

  • Translate strategy and and methodology as designed by Business Improvement Director
  • Support and deliver LEAN methodology in line with RSR LEAN Practices
  • Work with business improvement team to develop content and training for operational team
  • Ensure all necessary business improvement information is cascaded in a timely way to drive employee engagement and understanding of their value and role within RSR EMEA
  • Identify talent and create opportunities for development; using individual LEAN development plans to drive these opportunities and performance
  • Coach and mentor teams in their development and provide mentorship to assist with reaching their goals
  • Demonstrating inspirational Leadership and leading by example
  • Provide regular communication to teams to update them on market developments, business priorities and performance of the allocated accounts to create a positive working environment.
  • Identification and selection of effective staff to meet service delivery commitments

 

 

Problem Solving:

 

  • Coaching and developing the team to increase their potential, to support individuals and drive performance and behaviour using the competency framework and KPI’s to aid and drive performance
  • Ensure teams attend & participate in LEAN (and other) training requirements to aid in the embedding of LEAN practices
  • Ensure the team participate in continuous improvement activities in order to maintain their levels of expertise, market knowledge and awareness of future trends
  • Assess/survey quality of work delivered by teams, based on specific client feedback and develop action plans for individuals needing improvement to ensure performance targets are met

 

 

Accountability:

Supporting, creating and driving initiatives to improve commerciality and profitability across all areas of the business

Establish metrics, goals and expected performance levels of all teams and provide feedback and coaching where appropriate

 

 

Key Relationships:

Internal: Randstad Sourceright operational teams, colleagues in Recruitment Centres, colleagues in Business Development, Learning & Development,  Implementations and support functions,

External: third party providers, client stakeholders, vendors

 

Qualifications:

LEAN Six Sigma, Yellow belt or above (or operational experience)

Business related postgraduate qualification or equivalent relevant business experience

 

Knowledge & Skills:

Required

Knowledge of recruitment systems such as ATS, VMS’ and CRMs

Microsoft Office (Excel/PPT/Word/Gmail)

Excellent communications, influencing and negotiations skills

Evidence that you can work well under pressure

Evidence that you are an excellent team player and that you can also work alone.

Desired

Knowledge of current trends and best practices in RPO and MSP to include recruitment and sourcing.

 

 

Experience:

  • Solid experience of people management and leadership in a results driven environment.
  • Experience of managing and motivating teams
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of management, especially Director level, both internally and client-facing.
  • Ability to develop and deliver business plans and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability rely on experience and judgment set and meet goals and deadlines
  • Proven experience of developing relationships working at a strategic and operational level.
  • Experience of people management in a business results driven environment
