job description

  1. Manage performance of logistics service providers (LSPs) of different kinds, including international transportation, regional/domestic distribution, last-mile heavy-lift transport, 4PL, etc.
  2. Explore cost and performance improvement opportunities and lead the projects.
  3. Manage APAC Region Quality, Trade Compliance, Export Control and Customs requirements.
  4. Manage project implementation of global/regional initiatives in the region as assigned. Planned projects in the pipeline now cover arenas around export control, control tower solution, DG compliance, freight audit and pay, etc.
  5. Primary resource/project manager for all regional Global Control Tower implementations and deployments.
  6. Implementing a set of processes as have been defined by the Global Solution Managers focused on standardization across Key Markets and Factories within the region.
  7. Developing and maintaining appropriate links with Key Markets, Factories, and internal IS organizations within the scope of the projects, to implement standard ways of working and to drive improvements.
  8. Being a Change Manager towards Key Markets, Factories, and internal IS organizations.
  9. Compose the Project Charter and PID.
  10. Using a recognized Project Management tool (e.g. Open Workbench, Microsoft Project, etc), formulate the project plan in terms of specifications, quality, time, costs, information/communication and organization.
  11. Organize the project and arrange the management activities in terms of quality, time, costs, information and organization.
  12. Setup and distribute project tasks among the project resources in all Philips Healthcare locations.
  13. Hold responsible functional/technical teams accountable for their deliverables and resolve/escalate issues to project review board.
  14. Compose exception reports/contingency plans when tolerance levels have been exceeded.
  15. Track and report on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency.
  16. Maintain a full suite of project documentation.
  17. Liaise with other Project Managers to identify and meet inter-project dependencies.
  18. Liaise with the Global Solution Managers to ensure that deliveries are aligned with those for other Process Areas.
  19. Define and assess the risk of the project and develop scenarios to overcome these risks.
  20. Make sure Acceptance criteria are signed off.
  21. Ensure the smooth hand over of all deliveries to the business.
  22. Measuring and communicating achievements and contributions.
