Responsible for leadership of talent acquisition for RPO and MSP across APAC


Reporting to:

Managing Director RSR


Job summary:

Responsible for leading a team who identify, engage and acquiring the best external experienced talent to support RSR rapid growth in Asia Pacific. Additionally responsible for ensuring internal talent pool of high potential are included and engaged in the selection of new account teams to ensure career progression.


Main accountabilities:

The main accountability areas for this position are:

  1. Market mapping of experienced RPO talent in each major city
  2. Management of engagement programs to ensure speed to hire with talent communities/pools populated experienced RPO talent
  3. Close engagement with implementation and sales teams to forecast demand and support a six week implementation through a two week hiring process


People management

Key activities:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to recruitment team. Direct management of KL team and influence role for all other markets
  • Ensure all new staff are properly inducted and have performance management and personal development plans in place.
  • Provide regular communication to staff to update them on market developments and create a positive working environment.
  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to staff.


Financial performance

Key activities:

  • Responsible for aligning to account commercial models to ensure RSR meets commercial objectives


Metrics and reporting:

  • Experience in working with design and delivery of multiple complex metric systems and reporting structures.
  • Working knowledge of P&L


People management:

  • Lead grow and develop a team
  • On site management of teams and regional staff
  • Ability to build networks of internal and external suppliers and supporters
  • Team development – recruiting, development and retaining staff including development of succession plan.


Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience working in an RPO environment or managing in an agency or in house environment
  • Simultaneous management of large complex accounts at a senior level
  • Identification of process improvements and ensuring their appropriate implementation.
  • Formulation and monitoring service level agreements and reviewing KPIs against these on an ongoing basis.
  • Maximise revenue growth and profitability and ensure the solutions are meeting the commercial requirements of both client and RSR.
  • Proven track record in delivery of service excellence and driving constant process improvement.
  • Regional experience managing across Asia Pacific
  • Business management experience
