Marketing & Communications Executive, North America

Organization: The North America marketing & communications function is responsible for the growth of new and existing business by developing and securing profitable opportunities in the region and globally. The team is responsible for positioning RSR as a market leader, generating new leads and developing market-leading and innovative solutions to meet client needs. The team is also responsible for building engaging communications to connect our employees across geographies and drive internal awareness and engagement with key company initiatives.

Purpose of the job: A proactive and dynamic role focused on executing the marketing and communication plans of the business, with a strong focus on lead generation and internal communications. The role will drive forward the activity to support sales and operational teams in the NAM region and support regional and global communications planning and initiatives.

Key activities:

  • Supports lead generation and client marketing activities using integrated sales and marketing technology such as Hubspot, Salesforce and Saleswhale
  • Reviews effectiveness of lead generation activities and provides continuous improvement recommendations
  • Prepares materials such as presentations and printed collateral to support key events, announcements and internal and external initiatives
  • Reviews the effectiveness of content on the NAM lead generation funnel and makes recommendations for ongoing content production
  • Supports the North America Marketing Team and the global Internal Communications Team in the execution of regional and global internal communications programs Works with the in-country sales teams and NAM marketing function on lead generation activities (market needs analysis, lead generation recommendations and management, sales and bids support and client communications)
  • Ensures internal alignment with external messaging, working closely with the RSR North America marketing and HR teams
  • Coordinates the NAM Communications Calendar, keeping up-to-date with local and regional communications activity
  • Supports the key North America internal communications vehicles, including Sourciety RSR NAM News and NAM Pages intranet platforms, newsletters, town halls etc
  • Reviews engagement metrics and develop effective and targeted content that is relevant for different groups of employees to ensure connection with the RSR brand and global organization.
  • Tracks internal communications performance, including click-through-rates for emails and the intranet and work to improve these results
  • Provides marketing administration support as required

External Partners and suppliers

  • University degree (Marketing, Business, Communications etc.)

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) of successfully developing and implementing best-in-class initiatives, campaigns, communications and client events
  • Experience in digital marketing, channel management and campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering impact and achieving results

  • Knowledge of B2B digital marketing and digital platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of delivering customer marketing initiatives to deliver successful results (both qualitative and quantitative) directly linked to sales activities
  • A diplomatic, relationship builder with strong professional presence and demonstrated ability to influence sales teams
  • Positive, professional, with ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and environment
