Implementation PMO - Project Management Officer


Department:     Randstad Sourceright Emea; Implementations

Location:           Budapest

Reports to:        Director implementations

‘Implementations’ is responsible for the implementation of RPO and MSP solutions, in line with the agreed project plan, timescales and within budget. The implementation team holds the responsibility of being the first ‘face to the client’. We set the scene for future collaboration and must work efficiently, professionally and in line with the client's expectation of an outsourced partner. We work under pressure and must therefore be in control and demonstrate a constant ability to be flexible within the constraints of very rigid project management principles.

The implementation team must maintain the integrity of our Global  implementation  Methodology and ensure a smooth transition from the Business Development team takes place and subsequently prepare a stable handover to the Operations team.


Purpose of the job:

Underpin the work of Projects and Implementations team, by providing document production and management, project support, co-ordination and administration to new account implementations and projects.


The PMO will assist in the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and process within RSR. Strive to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. Act as the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution. Support the successful delivery of programs undertaken by RSR through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting. Assist with advising Project managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and act as the first point of contact for any program management queries within RSR. Assist in the management of key initiatives and programs supporting the strategic objectives of the organization.


Key activities:

  • Provide co-ordination and administrative support to new solution implementations. This includes data gathering and analysis; collection of due diligence documentation; co-ordination and version control of project documentation.
  • Support and in some cases ownership of project and implementation work-streams.
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
  • Take ownership and management of small RSR internal projects as defined and agreed by Implementation Director.
  • Champion within the team and RSR the use of project and implementation documentation. and toolkit.
  • Take ownership of designing, supporting and co-ordinating the training schedule, organizing facilities and attendees travel arrangements of any implementation or project.
  • Provide support during the discovery phase of implementation, engaging with the client in a workshop and 1-2-1 basis.
  • Organize, take minutes, actions and circulation of any team or project meetings.
  • Own relevant implementation site (gdrive, sharepoint, L:drive, etc) and act as a ‘Super User’ and trainer for documentation management site.
  • Provide support to Project Managers where required.
  • Ensure that all tasks are tackled using a structured fashion, including ensuring that documentation relating to the above is produced and maintained at all times.
  • Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.

  • HBO or University degree
  • Project management certification e.g. PMP, CAPM, PRINCE 2 preferred



  • Minimum 3 years PMO experience in the HR industry
  • Preferably experience with large volume, multi-country MSP and RPO programs
  • Solid experience in working within complex project environments
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
  • Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)



  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective.
  • Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.
