great people, great opportunities

Every day our people express that our career development opportunities, professionalism, vision and values are unique in the world of work.

We attract the best people and we invest in their development. We challenge them to perform to the best of their ability and to seize the opportunities our global company has to offer. Great people, great opportunities. That's our promise. It expresses the commitment between Randstad and our best people, a key building block in our strategy.

developing our people

At Randstad you get a rich variety of opportunities to reach your full potential. By doing so we develop and retain our talent and continue to build on our success and position in the market.

Marielle de Macker, managing director or Group HR at Randstad expresses her strong believe in developing talent within the company and Randstad's ambition to fill 80% of our leadership roles internally.

talent development programs

world league programs

Randstad offers many talent development programs on a global and local level.

In an innovative way our World League Programs develop our functional communities (Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing & Communications, and IT) in the areas of people and organization. The programs provide a shared vision, high quality training, global exchanges and direct personal involvement of our functional managing directors.

Frits Goldschmeding Academy

The Frits Goldschmeding Academy is our in-house training facility, offering state-of-the-art leadership programs, designed to support our (future) leaders in their development. We partner with leading international business schools, such as INSEAD, TIAS and IMD.

Our Executive Board strongly supports and actively engages in the development and delivery of the programs. In 2014, the Frits Goldschmeding Academy trained 345 senior managers in 11 different talent development programs.

voluntary services overseas

Randstad offers all employees the possiblity to develop themselves outside of their daily job. And with that shares their talent with the world.

Partnering with VSO means we provide support to communities that need it most. You can volunteer through VSO in several ways: from your home country and even online. But the best experience we offer is the short-term overseas assignment.

Frouke Maas, one of the 150 Randstad employees that have volunteered, explains what taking part in VSO has meant to her personal development.
