CONTENT, SOCIAL & MARKETING INNOVATION MANAGER

Eastern U.S. or Central European Office Base Required

Job summary:

Lead and oversee Randstad Sourceright's content and social communications functions on a global basis. In this role, the successful candidate will not only be an expert in developing, contributing and project managing the company's thought leadership and content, with a focus on specific market segmentation, but will also have the expertise to approach the role with a “digital first” mindset. This individual will be responsible for ensuring content relevancy by channel and audience across our owned platforms, as well as working closely with other internal and external channel partners, such as PR firms and digital agencies. An understanding of how to optimize the materials, content and campaigns developed, for internal and external utilization, will be critical for success in this role. The selected candidate will work closely with executives and other leaders across the company to bring concepts to life in the most innovative and consumable ways for maximizing understanding, market value and adoption.

We are looking for a talented content creator and manager to write and produce various types of downloadable content to expand our company's digital footprint, awareness, subscribers and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail and exceptional project management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee themes, development and overall execution for content ranging from white papers, e-books, infographics, sales playbooks, social media, marketing materials and much more
  • Write, edit and proofread content, developed independently and through other internal/external channels
  • Develop content campaigns and social posts based upon “digital first” insights and experience
  • Manage a global content calendar to ensure appropriate messaging, timing and internal adoption
  • Continually seek to innovate and introduce breakthrough ideas, approaches and solutions with relevant and bleeding edge content development and execution
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, internal/external agencies and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our target audiences
  • Establish strong working relationship with key industry analysts and define content marketing opportunities
  • Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
  • Ability to see the connection between strategy and tactics, and make that connection for others through various thought leadership and content communication vehicles
  • Partner with key corporate functions (Digital, Marketing, PR, etc.) to develop and manage internal and external adoption
  • Leverage digital media to maximize market coverage, working with digital subject matter experts to measure success and continually optimize
  • Develop and work closely with Marketing and Digital partners on the development of materials to increase adoption for optimum sales enablement
  • Direct oversight of all internal platforms relevant to content development (content calendars, Intranet platforms, Google+ pages and communities, etc.) to ensure message alignment and communication adoption/alignment
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency and ability to effectively navigate within a complex, global organization
  • Create engaging presentations, talking points and other materials to support others in telling our brand and thought leadership story
  • Develop regular update and reporting cadence to facilitate a strong understanding among key stakeholders, driving internal engagement
  • 15% travel

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject

Experience:

  • 5+ years of directly applicable and demonstrated increasingly responsible experience

Skills Required:

The successful candidate will be highly creative and an excellent writer/editor, but can also be process-driven, manage projects, think scale and rely on data to make decisions. Specific skills include:

  • Exceptional storyteller, writer, editor and communicator
  • Experience with a wide range of digital, multi-media, social and web-based vehicles used to reach relevant target audiences
  • Experience developing content pieces to drive sales enablement
  • Background in building online and offline audiences
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain highly productive under pressure
  • Ability to keep up on market trends and developments relevant to our business
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects
  • Detail orientation with a focus on continuous quality improvement
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with a wide range of internal/external partners
  • Preference shown to candidates with experience with tools, such as HubSpot, PostBeyond, social sharing and digital design packages (such as Adobe Creative Suite)
