What will you do?

The Senior L&D consultant is responsible for partnering with the operational management team to support in delivering a learning & development strategy across  the business in accordance with the EMEA business strategy and objectives. Through working in partnership with their business areas the Senior L&D consultant and team will provide an outstanding HR service that is customer focused and drives improved organisational performance.

The successful candidate will be a talented professional with proven experience in a recruitment/SSC environment combined with strong  learning and development track record.

You will be experienced in working in a fast paced business environment, be comfortable influencing at a senior level, and advising on what learning and development initiatives should be put in place and carried out to drive operational excellence into the business.

The Senior L&D consultant will be responsible:

  • To set up and manage the training strategy plan for the whole Budapest oganization (all levels).
  • To lead and participate, as required, on any HR and/or cross functional projects.
  • To contribute to the direction of the broader HR department.
  • To build and maintaine professional links with colleagues and senior managers within the business.
  • To drive excellence and to increase the perceived value of L&D to all stakeholders.


Who are you?

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a recruitment environment SSC and sound learning and development experience. Experience in a fast paced business and working with a mix of short term and longer term objectives is also important for this role.

He or she has a proven track record of hand on execution, from concept to delivery and is known for an excellent ability to translate ideas and theory into practice with passion and energy. Has proven track record of participating setting up complete training strategy for a recruitment organization/SSC.

The successfull individual will demonstrate strong people management and leadership skills in driving people processes and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Communication and relationship building skills would need to be highly effective with the ability to organize, inspire, motivate and lead initiatives through diverse teams. To be successful the individual will show an enthusiasm to share, develop, coach and mentor and will have a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication and follow through.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable to effectively work and communicate at all levels, with multiple stakeholders of varied backgrounds, nationalities and cultures, from senior management to trainee consultants. Personal authenticity is a must.
